Nicole M. Cvercko
Nicole M. Cvercko is senior counsel at The Chirinos Law Firm, PLLC. Nicole focuses her practice primarily on complex employment and employee benefits litigation. Nicole also conducts workplace investigation for companies of all sizes.
Prior to joining the team at The Chirinos Law Firm, PLLC, Nicole worked in commercial litigation at a boutique firm in Manhattan as well as for the Canadian Federal government. She was an Adjudicator for the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada for several years before she transitioned to New York. She is published on various topics, including sexual and gender-based violence war crimes, and conflict of laws.
During law school, Nicole acted as a research assistant to several professors. She also interned with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as well as Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs in Canada’s capital, focusing on the administration of economic sanctions. Nicole lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband.
